Broccoli, DeCicco
De Cicco is an old reliable open pollinated European variety. Compact light green plants grow up to 3 feet and produce a 3 to 4 inch bluish-green main head and many medium sized side shoots. Maturity is non-uniform with harvest beginning in 50 days and extending up to 90 days.

Broccoli, Green Sprouting Calabrese
Traditional multi-cut open pollinated variety popular with home gardeners. Dark green 20 to 30 inch plants produce 3 to 6 inch heads and abundant side shoots which can be harvested after the main head has been cut. Non-uniform in maturity, plant height and head size which results in an extended harvest period ideal for home gardens.

Broccoli, Waltham 29
Dark blue-green plants average 24 inches tall and produce medium-green heads ranging from 3 to 6 inches in diameter. Produces abundant side shoots that can be harvested 1 to 3 weeks after the main head has been cut. Non-uniform in maturity resulting in a long harvest period ideal for home gardeners. Good cold tolerance.

Broccoli-Raab, Early Fall Rapini
This early bolting variety produces tender turnip-like leafy flower shoots that are harvested and bunched just as the first flowers begin to open. Adapted well for early fall planting and winter harvest in the Southern U.S. Plants grow 18 to 24 inches tall and have medium green strap leaves. An Italian specialty used in salads and light cooking.

Broccoli-Raab, Spring Rapini
A larger, slower bolting and more widely adapted variety. For late fall and winter sowing in the South and spring sowing in the North. Plants grow up to 30 inches tall and produce many strap leaves and side shoots. Also known as “Italian Broccoli”.
