Melon, Ananas
A very sweet widely adapted variety popular in the Middle East. Large vigorous productive vines produce oblong fruit that average 4.5-5.5 pounds. Fruit have a thin yellow-orange rind with no sutures and slight netting. Flesh is creamy yellow with a hint of salmon at full maturity, soft juicy sweet and very aromatic. 90-110 days.

Melon, Hales Best Jumbo

Melon, Hales Bet Jumbo
This is a standard early shipper with heavy coarse net and light ribs. Melons range from 6.5 to 7.5 inches long by 5.5 inches in diameter and average 4 pounds. Flesh if firm and salmon colored with a good flavor.

 

Melon, Honey Dew Green Flesh
Well known shipping and home garden variety that has a smooth creamy-white hard rind without netting or sutures. Fruit average 7.5-8" x 6.5-7" with thick lime-green flesh, a small seed cavity and high sugar content. 105-115 days.

 

Melon, Planters Jumbo
This variety was developed to grow in hot humid climates and is resistant to Powdery and Downey Mildew. Fruit are 7” x 6” and average 4 to 4.5 lbs, have a firm rind with light ribbing and a smooth heavy net. Flesh is deep-orange. Matures in 85 to 91 days.

Melon, Top Mark
Vigorous dark green plants produce slightly oblong fruit averaging 6 inches in diameter. Fruit are well netted with very slight ribs and thick deep-salmon flesh. Resistant to Downey Mildew, Powdery Mildew and Scab. Excellent shipped particularly adapted to hot dry climates.
