Italian Giant (Dark Green Italian)
75-85 days. Large (2-3 ft.) plants with thick stalks and large quantity
of flat, glossy dark green leaves with a strong parsley flavor more
pungent than curled types. Stiff, upright stems good for bunching.
Preferred for most Italian dishes.

Paramount
72-82 days. Similar to Triple Curled with slightly longer stems more
adaptable to bunching. Holds color well.

Plain/Single
Also known as Single Leaf or Flat Leaf this variety is similar to Italian
Giant with slightly less uniformity and less cold tolerance. |

Doubled Curled
70-80 days. Medium sized fast growing plant with closely curled dark-green
leaves. Long stiff upright stems for easy bunching. Has a pleasant
flavor with a milder pungency than Italian Giant. Good uniform strain.

Petroselinum hortense

Parsely, Hamburg Rooted This is an old fashioned root parsley that produces fleshy white tapered parsnip-like roots up to 10 inches long that are cooked as a vegetable. Dark green leaves are flat and deeply cut with medium long stems and may be used like ordinary parsley. Roots mature in 85-95 days.
