Broccoli
4-5 days. These healthy sprouts contain a high percentage of sulforaphane,
a compound proven to inhibit the development of cancer. Though not
bitter, these sprouts do possess "a little zing" that
adds flavor to salads. |

Cabbage, Red Sprouting
4-5 days. These muted red Brassica sprouts provide the same health
advantage of broccoli sprouts although to a lesser degree and they
add color and variety to any micro-mix. |

Greens, Tatsoi
4-5 days. Tatsoi produces a green, slightly more delicate sprout
than broccoli with a mild “mustard” taste. |

Kohlrabi, Purple Vienna
4-5 days. These Brassica sprouts have attractive reddish purple
stems with dark green cotyledons – slightly lighter than red
cabbage. They have a mild Brassica/cabbage taste. |

3-5 days. Large Japanese diakon radish seed produces sprouts with
milky white roots that intensify to light green shoots and further
to medium green cotyledons. Piquant radish flavor. |

Radish, China Rose
A Chinese winter radish that can be harvested from 25 to 55 days after sowing, full sized roots are 2 inches in diameter and up to 8 inches long with a smooth rose-colored skin. Roots are slightly larger towards the tip. Top are strong and tall. It is also used for sprouting. |
